You make a good point about entertainment consuming a lot of energy, and they could very well be socially irresponsible too. After all, if we don’t reduce consumption & pollution and figure out how to be more sustainable as a species, humanity will die in a few hundred years, and all of the things we’ve accomplished — whether it be esports, crypto, or anything else, will have been totally pointless.
